About Marathon Millionaire
I started Marathon Millionaire to share practical ideas that help families make clearer decisions about money—and build patiently for what comes next.

A note from Blake
I’ve spent more than a decade in hospital administration and about a year as CFO of a concrete company. Those roles taught me to pay attention to how the pieces fit together. At home, money decisions still come down to everyday details: what is due, when it is due, and what we want our money to make room for.
After I was laid off in August 2026, I started building Marathon Millionaire as a business that can help people while supporting my family and giving us more time together. I’m still building; this isn’t a story about having every answer figured out.
The aim is to make personal finance feel useful without pretending every family has the same numbers, time, or options.
What guides the work
Amounts matter. Dates matter too. A balance makes more sense when upcoming bills are part of the picture.
Good advice leaves space for different needs, responsibilities, and the things a family values.
Useful habits are easier to return to than perfect plans. Keep learning and adjust when life changes.
A little more about Blake
I have an MBA in healthcare administration and an undergraduate degree in vocal performance. I enjoy cooking, working on projects at home, and making money plans easier to talk through. Those pieces shape the way I approach Marathon Millionaire: practical, patient, and tied to ordinary life.
